Liam smiled as she rolled him on top of her. Mariah's top seemed to enhance her assets and his new position on top of her gave him a very good view of her exposed cleavage. He thought about saying something, anything but he didn't because he did not want to make this moment seem real, he was very much caught up in the fantasy of it all. He lent down and kissed her exposed cleavage, her lips and then for a few moments he devoted his attention to the nape of her neck.

*She was breathing heavier and as he kissed her neck and her hands roamed to his butt again, fingertips teasing at the top of his shorts. She stopped herself and she brought her hands to the sides of his face. She brought his face to look at hers and she took a breath before speaking, though she too did not want to say anything, but she thought it best* "I think we had better...*She took another breath and smiled* ...take a break. I am finding it harder and harder to resist..." *She kissed him softly and whispered against his lips. "...as amazing as this feels...it is probably a good idea."

As she spoke he gave her a peck on the cheek and nodded and then rolled off of her
"yes that probably is a good idea ... " he paused for a second and then added "I uh ... um might need to stand outside for a few moments ... i'll be right back"
He stood up and headed towards the door and closed it behind him, Mariah might of noticed if she hadn't already that as he walked to the door his shorts showed every curve of what they where covering. Probably because Liam's angel conscience might of been on coffee break moments latter the door opened again and his arm appeared through the doorway and hung his shorts on the door handle.

*Mariah covered her mouth as she giggled, watching what he was doing.* "Everything ok?" She asked as she fixed her top, though not tying it up just yet. The fire was starting to dim and so she put another log on the fire as she waited for him.*

Liam stood naked outside not to far away from the closed door. The tiny magic folk of the forest who where going about their business hid as soon as Liam stepped out of the cabin. A couple of the more brave magic folk caught a glimpse of Liam au natural from their hiding spots. One of them a tiny fae was about to cast a spell on him but its friend quickly told her not to. For a second Liam struggled with the door before finally opening it, he reached inside and grabbed his shorts and put them back on before coming back inside.

*When he came back in he would find her laying on the rug, her body turned toward the fire. A blanket was over her. She wasn't asleep but her eyes were closed. She smiled as he came back in.*

he paused for a second and then walked over to her and then climbed underneath the blanket with her. A thought entered his mind which he quickly dismissed and wrapped an arm around her waist, pulled her close so that she was right up against him, kissed her neck and then closed his eyes.

*she soon found herself fast asleep and in his arms. It was the most perfect feeling in the world. The most right feeling she ever had. It was one of the first nights she did not toss and turn in her sleep. She actually slept well. Her sleep was not a dreamless one as she dreamt of a place that seemed of the past and of people whose faces she could not see but yet she felt she knew them. When the sun peeked in the windows early in the morning, Mariah opened her eyes. She was glad he hadn't left. She woke him with a soft, sweet kiss on the lip.* "Good morning"

Liam also had a perfect sleep, though while he slept the hand around Mariah's waist had ventured southwards while he slept and was now resting on her rear end. When he woke it took him a few moments to realise where he was and he smiled when he realised that last night was not a dream and the face he was looking at was indeed Mariah's. He smiled even brighter when she kissed him when he spoke to her his accent shifted for the briefest of moments

*The accent and the words took her by surprise and she looked at him for a moment.* "Where have I...." *But she did not continue. She couldn't have heard that before. She smiled and kissed him again. As they kissed, she heard a noise outside followed by laughter. A group of people had gathered outside in the early hours. Mariah could only venture a guess but before she even had a chance to do that, the door swung open and shock was on everyone's faces as neither party expected to see each other. "Well what have we here?" Britney said, hands on her hips and a smirk on her now bruised face. Her "date" whom she "won" stood beside her in his toga, though he looked like had been worked ragged all night. Other girls with their dates were there as well, Penny included, whose face had a look of shock and amusement. She also gave Mariah a motion to check herself. Mariah quickly looked down and realized her top was untied quite a bit though not all the way. She quickly tied it but it was no use. Everyone had their ideas now about what happened.* "We were just..." she began to defend but Britney chimed in "Yeah I can imagine what you were doing here all night. Can't believe you saved yourself for so long and just gave it up to HIM." Mariah stood up now, very aware she still had cleavage showing and her skirt was all disheveled. "NOT that it is any of your business, but no...we did not do what you assume we did and when..." She caught herself saying "when" instead of "if" and blushed a moment before continuing "...we decide to do it, I am sure it will be amazing and everything I've "saved" myself for and I sure the hell won't tell you about it. And won't it suck...Britney, when I could have such an amazing moment with such an amazing guy and you're left still tramping around with the worms that aren't even good enough for dirt."

As they where kissing he heard a noise outside and the laughter. His heart sank when the door opened and he realised that Britney was at the head of the throng of people, Liam could have sworn that half the senior year was either in the room with them or trying to be in the room. 'way to spoil the moment Britney' he thought to himself as he stood up with the blanket wrapped around his body. He wasn't sure if this was a good thing or a bad thing that Britney did not know what he was or was not wearing. He smiled when he noticed Penny in the crowd and gave her a 'you could have warned us?' look, though it wasn't like he had his mobile phone with him and he had no idea where Mariah's phone was.
Hearing the exchange between Mariah and Britney woke him up fully. He thought for a moment and then spoke
"I never realised that life in a town as small as Hope was so boring that the whereabouts of my girlfriend every minute of every hour of every day ..." he had not had the 'are we boyfriend and girlfriend' talk with Mariah but he was on a roll so he continued on with his rant "was such .... front page news. Thanks for the education into the daily life of small town America Britney, i really appreciate it. I really do. Though in the same breath it could be argued that your life is so pathetic knowing that the best sex that you'll ever get is with the one guy who would never even fuck you if he was blind drunk you make yourself feel better by taunting Mariah so much you've got it down to an art form? ..."
He let the blanket fall to the floor revealing he was wearing nothing but the tiny white shorts as he walked over to Mariah
"so which one is it Brit?"
He then scooped Mariah up into his arms and kiss her

*As Liam referred to her as his "girlfriend", she looked at him and blushed a little. They had not had the talk, but she knew if he asked her what she would say. Britney had a look like a deer in headlights as she heard Liam. It was the first time he had ever really spoke to her like that. Some of the others began to chuckle as her face got red. When Liam kissed Mariah, she wrapped her arms around him and kissed back. As the kiss ended, Mariah looked at Britney with a look that said "don't make me hit you again" and Britney left in a fit that could only be compared to a child. Her entourage followed, except for Penny who gave the two a wink before walking behind the group and leaving the cabin.* "Well shall go too? I could use a shower and need to check on my grandma." Mariah said as she gathered her things and fixed her clothing and hair.

He loved the fact that Mariah returned the kiss and couldn't help but snicker a little as Britney left. Liam waited for everybody to leave before he finally set Mariah back on the ground. As Mariah gathered up her things his gaze was focused on her rear end. 'maybe i need a cold shower' he thought to himself as he headed to the door hearing what she said he thought for a moment and took Mariah by the hand and twirled her in a circle " we could go for a swim in the lake, unless you have your heart set on having a shower in an actual shower ... " his tone shifted to playful yet cheeky tone of voice and then added even though he was certain of the answer to his offer" and i could wash your back"

*She grinned and though the offer was tempting, she knew that could lead to some trouble.* "I think I should go back to my house for a bit. Besides, we both have to get ready for our date tonight, remember?" *She smiled and kissed his cheek.* "And you will be a perfect gentleman." She took his hand and smiled. As they walked out of the cabin and by the lake, she finally spoke up about what he had said in the cabin to Britney. "So did you mean what you said back there? Do you want me as your...your girlfriend?"

As they walked by the lake heading to the car he couldn't resist and scooped her up into his arms and carried her. When she mentioned their date he nodded "i haven't forgotten about our date, though do keep in mind my wardrobe is very limited for the next few days so i better not forget to grab my toga from your car" and gave her a sexy wink. When she asked him if he was serious about what he said back in the cabin he stopped walking and kissed her. "Yes"
